This is the original recording of the world famous Oktoberfest Polka song “Stand And Sing Ein Prosit” written for Walter Ostanek by Axe Music songwriter David Lodge. The song was first introduced at Kitchener, Ontario’s Oktoberfest Celebrations. Recorded at Toronto Sound Studios by producer Greg Hambleton in 1975. Musicians include Walter Ostanek (Accordian), Murray McFadgen (Vocals), Vil Clemitis (drums), Ken Cenko (Guitar/Banjo), Roy Bice (Sax) & Ron Podio (Bass).
