The Strike - The Getaway (DRUM COVER)
In life, it's always great to find your people, your tribe. It's usually through topics you love... music...art... religion... sports... racing... nature... animals... all kinds of passions. Some participate by enjoying and celebrating them, and others by being the ones creating them. I'm so happy our daughter has found a passion and her tribe this summer. My greatest wish is that each of us get to experience the same joy with at least one tribe in our lifetime. I hope you enjoy this song by one of my new favorite bands, The Strike. If you dig them... you should go see them and join their tribe.

I'm Jason Gittinger. I take tunes recorded without Drums and add Drums to them. Unwanted. Sometimes, I make it more about the drums than the song... Life is short, spread joy and have fun.

UNWANTED DRUMS RULES:
1. One Take - No overdubs. Warts and All.
2. One Hour - This is recreating playing with others, in the moment, creating passion and excitement on the fly.
3. For Me - This is for me, friends and fans of live drums and live music. If you think I was “not playing for the song?” - No duh, these were Unwanted Drums.
4. Acoustic/Drum-less Tunes - Whenever possible, I use a song that didn’t have drums on it. Sometimes, I use creative license to add drums on something that had some before. Other times, I may play a drum-less version of a song and try to recreate the original. When in doubt, refer back to rule #3.
5. Fun - This is for fun. If you want a custom tune for you to sell, I can be hired. If you want me to tour the world with your band, that can be arranged too… Let’s chat.
