Among the many names for the full moon in August The Old Farmer’s Almanac lists “Sturgeon Moon”, “Corn Moon”, “Harvest Moon”, “Black Cherries Moon”, and “Mountain Shadows Moon”.
I, however, will forever refer to it as the “Moonshadow Moon”
