Description
Harmonic Private Recording CBL 40
Released ca. 1952.
As heard on Galaxy News Radio in Fallout 3.
Composed by Eddy (Eduard) Christiani and Frans Poptie. Conducted by David Johnson, a likely pseudonym of Dolf van der Linden for the Charles Brull Dance Orchestra. As Christiani and Poptie played the guitar and violin respectively, it could very likely be them playing their own composition.
This is an extremely unusual vinyl 78 rpm record. It's one of several examples of library music in the Fallout soundtrack.
First known use in the 1953 Swedish film, Vi tre debutera . However, since the song is on the same record as "Yankee Doodle Polka" which appeared in the 1952 film, Flottare med färg, it implies they were recorded around the same time at least by 1952. Also broadcast on the BBC in 1954 as test pattern music.
It was reissued in 1999 CD KPM 0398 Roads to War (1933-1945) Part 1.
