Description
On August 21, 2014, Pamela Z premiered ACQUA, a 25 minute suite of short works for voice, electronics, and video, incorporating live and sampled watery sounds and images, manipulated in real time with gesture activated MIDI controllers. The work was presented at the Exploratorium's Kanbar Forum in San Francisco as part of the SOUNDWAVE ((6)) Festival. Using the Exploratorium's 100-speaker Meyer Constellation sound system, Z diffused her live sound throughout the space
– immersing and submerging viewers in an extremely wet room. This video shows short excerpts from the documentation taken that night.
