Nataly’s Corner presenting music from the new album by #contemporary #jazz guitarist NILS. It’s true that, just like contemporary sax jazz and piano jazz, the guitar has its own “pied Piper” affect that attracts jazz music listeners to its essence. You only have to study and listen to NILS Jiptner’s music discography to understand what I’m saying. NILS is a formidable and successful solo recording artist with a penchant for funk fusion sounds and this seems prominent in a few songs on his recent album, Cool Shades, released September 2, 2022 on all the digital music platforms. Since its release, the single “Nine 2 Five” has already placed on the Billboard Chart and climbing. Cool Shades has all the grooves to meet my expectations for contemporary jazz and I’m sure it will do the same for you.
