The Celtic Folk Band Spinning Wheel (Austria) performs Medhel an Gwyns). "A video from our latest live performance. It features one of the beautiful songs from the BBC's Poldark series, lyrics and music by Mike O'Connor. "Medhel and Gwyns" means "soft is the wind" in the ancient Cornish language which is considered a critically endangered language, as there are a mere 300 speakers fluent in it these days.
This gig at Kultur im Kotter in was the first public performance of the Salvi Una harp (by Salvi Harps), our latest addition to our ever growing family of musical instruments. Bodhran by Eckermann Drums. Low Whistle by Tony Dixon Music. Spinning Wheel are: Danika Ruso, Bernhart Ruso and Fabian Zechmeister.
