On October 9, 2022, Vancouver Hanfu Culture Association presented an re-enactment of Ming Dynasty wedding scene at Dr. Sun Yat Sen Park in downtown Vancouver - the first Late Ming style Suzhou garden built overseas!
We have restored the scenes, costumes, procedures, rituals, and documents related to a Ming Dynasty Chinese wedding ceremony to the local people and tourists.
Since ancient times, weddings have embodied the Chinese people's respect for nature, their rigorous rituals, and, more importantly, their love and hope for their future lives.
We hope that through our presentation, the beauty can cross all boundaries of time and space and borders and reach the corners of everyone's heart!
