Every song Ilayaraja sir creates presents itself as a timeless masterpiece. This song is one that is close to my heart and attempting this was a challenge in itself. However, #HemachandraBand’s love towards “Lalitha Priya Kamalam” is what birthed this project. Additionally, Chitra Garu accepting to collaborate magically elevated this gem of a song to the next level. I am forever grateful to the legendary Chitra garu.

Bringing out the soul in the face is one of the most important aspects I consider. Ilayaraja Sir’s music does the same. There is soul in his music. The conscious feeling which I had at the start of the sketch, slowly faded away in the process of sketching along with his music.”
