Description
This video contains Isaiah 52:1-3 set to folk-pop music using Suno (v4.5), an AI program. A moving way to experience God's word! I took the lyrics straight from the World English Bible (WEB)*, the world's only modern English Bible translation that's completely free of copyright.
In this passage, God prophetically speaks of a time when Jerusalem would be a completely spiritually pure city. Ultimately, this must refer to New Jerusalem, where all saints will live forever once all prophecies have been fulfilled. Revelation 21 speaks to this: "I saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared like a bride adorned for her husband....There will in no way enter into it anything profane, or one who causes an abomination or a lie, but only those who are written in the Lambβs book of life" (verses 2, 27). As for verse three of our passage, Israel was sold for nothing in the sense that God did not pay Israel's enemies to deliver Israel into their hands, but Israel would be redeemed for nothing in the sense that God's ultimate redemption is paid for with the blood of Jesus, not silver or gold.

Lyrics:
Isaiah 52:1-3 (WEB, Updated)
1 Awake, awake! Put on your strength, Zion.
Put on your beautiful garments, Jerusalem, the holy city,
for from now on the uncircumcised and the unclean will no more come into you.
2 Shake yourself from the dust!
Arise, sit up, Jerusalem!
Release yourself from the bonds of your neck, captive daughter of Zion!
3 For the LORD says, βYou were sold for nothing;
and you will be redeemed without money.β

*More specifically, I used the World English Bible (Updated), which differs from the original World English Bible only in that it replaces the name of God (Yahweh) with "the LORD", just like most other English Bible translations.
