"Kalamazoo," Marsalis' first-ever live album, documents a single performance, recorded in the titular Michigan city in the midst of a seven-day tour.
The album is Marsalis' seventh as a leader and features Marsalis on trombone, his father, Ellis Marsalis, on piano, Reginald Veal on bass, and Ralph Peterson on drums.
