Hanuman Jayanti celebrates the appearance of Hanuman, Rām's Great Bhakta, who is revered for his devotion, courage, and strength. It typically falls on the full moon day (Purnima) of the Hindu lunar month of Chaitra, which usually occurs in March or April. Join us in celebrating this auspicious occasion with Hanuman Chalisas, recorded and performed by KD and his friends Nina, Shyama and Devadas at Garrison Institute in April 2023. With David Estes on dholak, Mark Gorman on bass, Genevieve Walker on violin, Noah Hoffeld on cello, Brad Stoller on electric guitar, and Keli on kartals.
