Fallen Angels featured drummer Joe Dube (before adding the X as his middle initial), guitarist Peter Sweval (who also played guitar for Looking Glass, of Brandy (You're A Fine Girl) fame), bassist Brenden Harkin, keyboardist Larry Gonsky, and lead singer Michael Lee Smith (brother of Rex). They released 2 singles on Arista Records in 1975; The Kid Gets Hot and their remake of (Just Like) Romeo & Juliet. Their lone album, Recorded At Sound Stage Studios, was released on CD in 2003 by Drastic CD Company. The Kid Gets Hot didn't chart, but their hard rocking cover of Romeo & Juliet did on the Bubbling Under Hot 100 chart, peaking at #106. Smith, Sweval, Harkin, and Dube went on to form Starz with guitarist Richie Ranno.
