Allan Holdsworth - Tokyo Dream Lesson & Tutorial

Hey guys! This may seem like a long video but the song itself isn't so bad! Tokyo Dream is actually quite an easy Allan tune that if you're not familiar with his playing might be a good place to start, minus maybe the weird stretches in the solo section. This was suggested from my friend and brilliant musician, Marco Oppedisano. I also used Allan's solo chart to help explain whats going on in the solo section. As far as I know this is as accurate of a transcription you're going to find, including the right strings the right hand taps are on. The version in "Reaching for the Uncommon Chord" is slightly off in certain areas. This is also the first video I used my new Yamaha Magicstomp with!

Some of you also might take some issue with some of the chord names. I figured I would add I did not take the bass note into consideration and only focus on the chords. I also tried to give the chord the most straightforward name I can, even if functionally it might not be correct.
