“All My Life”/“Amazing Grace” (the complete LP) features the dramatic soprano voice of Anne Criswell Jackson along with Ralph Carmichael’s Orchestra. Anne’s father, W. A. Criswell, was well-known for serving over 50 years as pastor at First Baptist Church of Dallas, Texas. This album, the first of two LPs created with Ralph, was recorded at Capitol Studios in Hollywood, Calif. Released originally on Royalty Records in 1967 with the title “Amazing Grace,” it was re-issued in 1972 on Ralph’s Light label with different artwork, re-ordered song list, and the new title “All My Life.” Songs include three of Ralph’s compositions: “All My Life,” “Oh, I Never Shall Forget the Day” and “The Savior Is Waiting.” In addition, these great songs were included: “It’s Real/Amazing Grace,” “The Wonder of It All,” “In Times Like These/The Haven of Rest,” “He Is So Great,” “My Song,” “The Lord Is My Light,” “Peace in the Valley” and “Heavenly Medley.” Anne died in 2002, just a few months after the death of her father, W. A. Criswell.
